How do reminders work?

Give an item an expiry date and Pantry schedules two local notifications: one a few days ahead (you pick how many in Settings) and one on the day itself. Both arrive at 9:00 AM.

What CSV format does import accept?

Almost anything. Pantry recognizes common column names from other inventory apps — Name, Qty, Location, Expiry, Best By, UPC, Notes, and more. Rows with problems are skipped individually and reported; one bad row never ruins the file.

Where is my data stored?

On your device, period. See the privacy policy — there is no server, no account, no cloud.

How do I move my data to a new phone?

Export a CSV on the old phone (Settings → Export CSV), send it to the new phone (AirDrop works great), then Settings → Import CSV. Your device's own iCloud backup also restores the app's data automatically.
